The cinema seats 936 people, divided among six separate theatres. All seats have reclining back and a distance of 1.2m to the row in front. The luxury theatre has leather seats, small tables between the seats and 1.3m between the rows! All screens are floor to ceiling and all seats are positioned within the screen width, creating good vision in all theatres. Curved screens to improve the visual experience.

Hålogaland Theatre is the world’s northernmost regional theatre. The theatre has delighted and outraged audiences in Northern Norway for 30 years. As well as playing the big classics, the theatre goes for contemporary drama from around the world and stimulates the production of new drama in this part of the country. Over the years, the theatre has had a host of successes and has established a large faithful audience. Our new theatre building opens in November 2005.

Driv is the city’s cultural and student centre and boats the city’s biggest and best concert stage. Three stages spread over four storeys, where crowds of 650, 350 and 200 respectively can enjoy a wide range of music: everything from symphonies, jazz, electronica and pop to rock of all types.
